Error 1713 or MSI Error 41
When you try to install one of the 2007 Microsoft Office suites or an individual 2007 Office program by double-clicking an .msi file. You might receive one of the following error messages:

Contact your administrator or product vendor for assistance.
To successfully install the application, you will need to double click the ‘setup.exe’ file.

So what can i do to solve this problem … Should i re- install windows xp Pro or what ?
Hi, follow the instruction from the Microsoft link. It helped solved my problem.
You can’t run the .msi file separately. You have to run the main set-up.exe.
