How To Remove Service Packs for Microsoft Office 2003 and Office 2007?

Have you ran in the problem when trying to uninstall and remove Microsoft Office 2003 or Office 2007 from your computer because it has a conflict with another application on your system? If so then you will noticed that it doesn’t have an uninstall feature. At least, it doesn’t show up on the ‘Add and remove’ programs. Apparently, this is by design from Microsoft. To fully uninstall the services pack, you have to uninstall the whole Microsoft Office product. This is kind of dumb in design on Microsoft side, that is why with newer releases, e.g. Microsoft Office 2010, it has the ability to uninstall and remove service packs.

For those that have Microsoft Office 2007 service pack 2, it does have an option to uninstall the service pack without uninstalling the whole Microsoft Office product. You have to run a command tool in order to remove it. Below is the link to download the tool.
