Today, one of our users was experiment a problem on his computer where the spoolsv.exe file is taking 50% to 99% of his CPU. The first thing we thought was that his Print spooler was currupted. And it turns out that we were right. After using the ‘cleanspl.exe’ tool from the Windows Resource Kits, it fixed the spoolsv.exe CPU issue for him.
