Today, one of our user experienced crashing of his Outlook when he launches Outlook 2007.

Below is the error message we found on his event logs.

Faulting application outlook.exe, version 12.0.4518.1014, stamp 4542840f, faulting module emsmdb32.dll, version 12.0.4518.1014, stamp 45428079, debug? 0, fault address 0x00129aae.

There are some articles on how to fix this, but all of them talk about uninstalling recently installed updates. In our case, this user didn’t have any recent installed windows updates to uninstall.

The only solution we have in fixing this problem is by recreating his outlook profile. Once we did that, his Outlook is working again and he is happy. User is happy = We are happy
