If you are getting the following errors on vSphere,
* Alarm ‘Host IPMI System Event Log status’ on ServerName changed from Gray to Red
* Health of SEL changed from gray to red.
this mean that your event log is full. You will need to reset it.
To reset the Event Log,
– click on the “Hardware Status” tab in vSphere Client.
– change view to “System event log”
– click on the “reset system logs” link
– click on the “reset sensors” link
